Analysis of vibrations is required in research and development of an “active damping system” that minimizes the shaking of buildings due to earthquakes and winds. Previously, research was conducted using costly digital memory and analyzers but handling of data was difficult because of a nonstandard data format. The difficulty of the seal determination is the very high sensibility regarding temperature changing. So the pressure will change by 1 bar at a temperature difference of 0,1 K only. For that reason a very precise and high-resolution pressure measurement is necessary. So the module e.bloxx A1 will be used. Due to the short time of measurement, the low dynamic and the constant environmental conditions it is possible to measure with a resolution of 21 bit. For the system accuracy that means, leakages of 0,04 l / h per m2 section volume will be detected safely.
