The Dytran 3225M series is an ultra miniature teardrop low profile accelerometer with a sensitivity of 50 mV/g up to 100 mV/g, designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor has an overall height of 0.22-inches (5.5-millimeters) and weighs just 1.0 gram.
Featuring a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight titanium housing, the 3225M series utilizes a specially designed 3-56 coaxial connector, mating with a replaceable 3-foot (0.9-meter) coaxial cable and terminating to a 10-32 jack. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
