The Dytran 3225MT series is an ultra miniature teardrop low profile IEPE accelerometer with a sensitivity of 50 mV/g or 100 mV/g and IEEE 1451.4 TEDS capabilities, designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor has an overall height of 0.22-inches (5.5-millimeters) and weighs from 0.85 grams up to 1.1 grams.
Featuring a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight titanium housing, the model 3225MT series utilizes a specially designed 3-56 coaxial connector, mating with a 3-foot (0.9-meter) replaceable coaxial cable and terminating to a 10-32 jack. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
