Knick P44000, High Voltage Temperature Transmitter (up to 6600 V isolation)
- Transmitter for Pt100 RTD temperature sensors; 2, 3 or 4-wire connection
- Fixed range models for 0 to 150 °C, 0 to 200 °C and 0 to 300 °C input ranges
- Output Signal: 4 to 20 mA
- Galvanic isolation (continuous) up to 6.6 kVac/dc with test voltage of 15 kVac
- Compact din-rail mountable housings (22.5 mm to 67.5 mm, depending on isolation level)
- Transmission error < ±1K, typically ±0.5K at 23 deg.C.
- Suitable for extreme environments: operating temperature -40 to 85 C
- Ideal for safely monitoring winding temperature of high-voltage motors
The Knick P44000 series temperature transmitters are designed for temperature measurements in high voltage environments. Pt100 RTD signals are converted to standard 4…20 mA outputs. This is done with minimal delay and high accuracy. Electrical isolation is maintained up to 6.6 kV AC/DC, making this solution ideal for surface-mounted RTD installations in high voltage environments. Applications include temperature monitoring of windings within high voltage motors for condition monitoring and temperature verification of heat sinks for system safety.
