SI-ETH, 1-2 Chn Ethernet Data Acquisition Module

The sensor interface SI-ETH connects sensor and PC through an IP-based Ethernet. Analog sensor signals can be digitized with up to 16 bit resolution, with the measuring rate of 2500 measurements/s per measuring channel.

Many standard sensors, such as force-, torque-, displacement- and pressure sensors, linear potentiometers, and Process Signals etc., can be used with the SI-ETH. 

The voltage supply of the SI-USB3 is provided by PoE, an external 110Vac adapter, or by a 12 to 30 Vdc Power Supply. The connected sensors are directly supplied with voltage through the measuring amplifier which eliminates the need for separate sensor supply voltage. The low-pass filter second order allows filtration of unwanted frequencies. 

The connection to LabVIEW or integration into own programs is possible with the available driver package.

The following Sensor output signals can be digitally converted and conveniently displayed and evaluated via the free evaluation software:
- Load, Torque, Strain or Pressure Input range ±3 mV/V (Excitation 4V ≤20 mA)
- Process Signal or Sensor Input range ±5V/±10V (Sensor supply 12V ≤80 mA)
- Process Transmitter or Sensor Input range 0/4 ... 20 mA (Sensor supply 12V ≤80 mA)
- Linear or Rotary Potentiometer Input range 0 ... 5V (Sensor supply 5V ≤170 mA)
