The CD1110 series is designed for dynamic torque sensing in applications requiring high precision and low torque measurement ranges from ±0.05 Nm to ±2 Nm (±0.04 to ±1.5 lbf.ft). Its robust design incorporates mechanical stops that safeguard the sensor against overloads up to ten times the nominal range, ensuring durability and long-term reliability.
This sensor is capable of accurate bidirectional torque measurements at rotational speeds of up to 2000 rpm, making it suitable for a wide range of dynamic testing environments. The optional onboard amplifier enhances signal quality by providing a high-level voltage output and minimizing noise through the slip ring assembly. This feature, along with the possibility of direct contact measurement, effectively eliminates contact residual drag torque, enhancing measurement accuracy.
Constructed with an aluminum shaft for reduced weight and keyed shaft couplings for secure installation, the CD1110 is designed for ease of integration into various mechanical setups. It offers both cable gland and connector outputs, catering to different system requirements. The integrated mechanical stops not only provide over-torque protection but also contribute to the sensor's overall robustness and reliability in demanding applications.
