R60D - Description

The R60D RVIT (Rotary Variable Inductance Transducer), stands at the forefront of angular position sensing technology. This DC-operated, non-contact sensor ensures a high-level VDC output that is linearly proportional to the angular position over a ±60 degree sensing range. Powered by a ±15VDC supply, the R60D employs an innovative configuration of four printed circuit coils and a conductive spoiler to deliver superior performance with a remarkably low moment of inertia. Its patented autoplex circuit accurately measures the inductance unbalance caused by the rotation of the lightweight spoiler, converting this signal into a linear DC output voltage. Exceptionally resistant to EMI and RFI, and compatible with most analog position feedback systems, the R60D offers infinite resolution, a broad operating temperature range, and an extended rotational cycle life. Enclosed in an anodized aluminum housing, it provides exceptional durability and performance at a cost-effective price, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
