Part of Celesco’s miniature series, the MTA cable extension position transducer is designed for applications where space is limited but accurate measurement is crucial. Utilizing a high-cycle conductive plastic potentiometer, the MTA delivers precise voltage divider feedback across full stroke ranges of either 3 or 5 inches. Its accuracy of ±0.4% full stroke and exceptional repeatability of ±0.02% ensure reliable data for critical applications. The transducer's compact design allows for effortless installation using servo clips, facilitating easy rotational adjustment to suit various measurement needs.
With a durable anodized aluminum enclosure and a nylon-coated stainless steel measuring cable, the MTA is built for longevity, supporting up to 50 million cycles. Its electrical characteristics include a 5K ohms input resistance and a power rating that adjusts with temperature, maintaining performance across a wide operating temperature range from -67° to 212°F. Certified with NEMA 12 and IP55 ratings, the MTA is protected against dust and low-pressure water, making it suitable for a variety of environments.
