HR - Description

The HR Series represents a line of general-purpose LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers) characterized by their high reliability and adaptability across various applications. These sensors are designed with a significant core-to-bore clearance of 1/16 inch [1.6mm], facilitating easy installation and accommodating misalignments to minimize application costs.

Operating within a frequency range of 400Hz to 5kHz, the HR Series LVDTs are housed in durable stainless steel and can be customized with either imperial or metric threaded cores. They stand out for their high output voltage and versatility, ensuring precise and trouble-free position measurements in a wide array of environments.

The series offers an extensive selection of stroke ranges, from ±0.05 to ±10 inches, and is available with various options such as guided core, small diameter/low mass core, and configurations suitable for high-temperature environments or mild radiation resistance.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with Measurement Specialties LVDT signal conditioners, the HR Series LVDTs are built to last. Their windings are vacuum-impregnated with a high-temperature, flexible resin, and the coil assembly is secured within the housing using a durable two-component epoxy, providing exceptional protection against humidity, vibration, and shock.
