M12 - Description

The M-12 Series represents a leap in LVDT technology, combining premium performance with affordability. These 12mm diameter AC LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers) are engineered for precision materials testing and position feedback applications, where superior linearity and reliability are paramount. Utilizing state-of-the-art, computerized winding techniques, the M-12 Series achieves a flawless transfer function, crucial for high-precision tasks.

These sensors boast an exceptional stroke to length ratio, thanks to precision layer windings, ensuring optimal performance without compromising sensor linearity. The design is further enhanced by a low temperature coefficient of 100ppm/°C and minimal phase shift, ensuring stable outputs across various temperatures.

The M-12 LVDTs are designed with a magnetically shielded, ribless bobbin and an internal high-permeability magnetic shield, offering unmatched protection against electromagnetic interference. Encased in AISI 304 Series stainless steel housing, these sensors are safeguarded against corrosion, making them suitable for use in harsh environments. The windings are vacuum impregnated with high-temperature resin and the coil assembly is securely potted with epoxy, providing excellent resistance to humidity, vibration, and shock.
