XS-C - Description

The XS-C Series embodies the pinnacle of LVDT design for environments where pressure, shock, and vibration are prevalent. These high-pressure sealed AC LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers) offer precise displacement measurement in the most demanding conditions found in pressure-sealed chambers, hydraulic actuators, and pressure vessels.

Constructed from heavy-wall AISI 304 Series stainless steel and employing an all-welded design, the XS-C Series is exceptionally resistant to corrosive agents, ensuring longevity and reliability in tough industrial settings. It can withstand operating pressures up to 3,000 PSI, with proof pressures reaching up to 4,500 PSI, making it suitable for a wide range of high-pressure applications. The LVDTs operate efficiently within a wide temperature range up to +300°F (+150°C), accommodating various operational demands.

Available stroke ranges span from ±0.25 inch (±6.35mm) to ±1 inch (±25.4mm), providing flexibility for different measurement requirements. Each unit comes with options for imperial or metric threaded cores, facilitating easy integration into existing systems. The series features advanced internal magnetic and electrostatic shielding, safeguarding the device from external magnetic disturbances and ensuring accurate, reliable measurements.

The XS-C Series LVDTs are fully compatible with all Measurement Specialties LVDT signal conditioners, controllers, and readouts, offering a seamless and integrated solution for high-pressure measurement challenges.
