MACRO HPGS 750 - Description

Macro Sensors' HPGS 750 Series encompasses a collection of AC-operated Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) specifically engineered for demanding position measurement applications across various industries. These rugged sensors, with a diameter of 3/4 inch (19 mm), are built for operation in high-temperature settings, reaching up to 400°F. Their robust, hermetically sealed design is crafted entirely from stainless steel, ensuring the LVDTs' longevity and reliability in even the most hostile environments, as evidenced by their IP-68 sealed coil windings.

One of the defining features of the HPGS 750 Series is its screw-on radial connector, offering a series of advantages: a through-bore design for enhanced mechanical support and core guidance, a compact installed length, and heightened vibration resistance. These attributes make the LVDTs particularly suitable for applications requiring precise measurements in conditions prone to dust, dirt, and significant mechanical stress.

Macro Sensors further enhances the versatility of the HPGS 750 Series with options such as Teflon® bore liners and metric threaded cores, alongside a comprehensive selection of mounting accessories and core extension rods. The series is also adaptable for special requirements, including mild radiation resistance (up to 3x107 Rads) and operation in pressurized fluid environments.

Designed to function seamlessly with any conventional differential input LVDT signal conditioner, the HPGS 750 Series achieves optimal performance when paired with Macro Sensors' own line of LVDT signal conditioners, providing a reliable solution for high-precision position measurement tasks.
