The CD 375 Series by Macro Sensors stands out in the field of linear position sensing with its small-sized, contactless linear position sensors, tailored for both OEM and end-user applications. These 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) diameter AC-operated LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers) are specifically designed for applications requiring precise, high-response dynamic measurements. Available in full-scale measuring ranges from ±0.025 inch (±0.63 mm) to ±1.0 inches (±25 mm), these miniature LVDTs are perfectly suited for scenarios where a low mass core is crucial for fast and accurate responses.

Characterized by high resolution, exceptional repeatability, low hysteresis, and high sensitivity, the CD 375 Series ensures superior linearity with a maximum linearity error of only ±0.25% of full range output. The durability and reliability of these sensors are the results of Macro Sensors' extensive experience and refined manufacturing processes. Constructed from materials like glass-filled polymer for thermal stability and stainless steel housings for magnetic shielding, these LVDTs offer robust performance even in environments with external AC magnetic fields. Their external sealing is compliant with IEC standard IP-61, ensuring reliable operation in diverse conditions.

Macro Sensors provides various customization options for the CD 375 Series, including Teflon® bore liners and metric threaded cores, to meet specific application needs. Special design requests, such as different lead wire exits, connectors, vented units for pressurized fluid operation, high-temperature models, and radiation-resistant materials, can also be accommodated.

These LVDTs are compatible with any conventional differential input LVDT signal conditioners, offering optimum performance when used with Macro Sensors' own line of LVDT signal conditioners, designed to enhance the functionality and precision of the CD 375 Series.
