LVM-110, OEM AC LVDT Conditioner

The LVM-110 represents a breakthrough in LVDT/RVDT signal conditioning, combining affordability with high functionality in a very compact, open PC board design. It is engineered to deliver exceptional performance, providing a wide range of low noise DC voltage outputs, both unipolar and bipolar, to meet diverse application needs. The device operates on either a ±12 or ±15VDC supply voltage, ensuring compatibility with most LVDT and RVDT transducers, including those with 5 and 6 electrical connections.

Key features include DIP switch selectable gain and excitation, allowing easy customization across 2.5, 5, 8, and 10kHz excitation frequencies. Zero and span adjustments can be finely tuned using onboard potentiometers, enhancing measurement precision. The LVM-110 also introduces a master/slave capability for synchronizing multiple conditioners, effectively eliminating beat frequencies and cross-talk between transducers. Its generous excitation drive current of 20mA supports transducers with input impedances as low as 150 Ohms.

Designed for straightforward installation, the LVM-110 can be plugged into backplane-type connectors or wired directly to a screw terminal barrier strip. Its diminutive size allows for flexible mounting options, including the use of threaded standoffs or card-edge guides for stacking. Simplified setup is achieved through two DIP switches that grant easy access to selectable operating parameters, streamlining the process of adjusting gain, frequency, and output.
