ATA-2001 - Description

The ATA-2001 sets a new standard for LVDT/RVDT signal conditioning in demanding industrial environments. Powered by either 115 or 220 VAC, this unit integrates digital calibration and superior filtering into an analog signal conditioning framework. Its core is a microprocessor that not only generates a PWM-shaped sine wave for precise control but also oversees all calibration functions, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with a broad range of transducers (4, 5, and 6 electrical connections).

This unit offers selectable excitation frequencies and amplitudes, along with voltage and current outputs to suit diverse application needs. Its frequency response can be adjusted between 250 to 1000Hz, allowing users to tailor the device's performance to specific measurement tasks. The ATA-2001's front panel is splash-proof, featuring status LEDs for real-time operational feedback, and it conforms to the 1/8 DIN standard for panel mounting, facilitating easy integration into various setups.

Unique features such as auto fallback synchronization ensure reliable operation by preventing amplifier cross-talk and maintaining functionality even if the sync signal is lost, with the capability to automatically revert to internal clock operation and then back to slave mode upon signal restoration. The device's high drive current (up to 45mA) supports low impedance transducers, enhancing its versatility and making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Housed in a rugged, extruded aluminum case, the ATA-2001 delivers unmatched performance under severe EMI and RFI conditions, maintaining integrity and accuracy. This, combined with its CE certification and adherence to stringent industrial standards for EMI, RFI, and ESD, underscores its reliability and durability in the most challenging industrial settings.
