MP-2000, Dual channel AC LVDT Programmable Conditioner

The MP-2000 serves as a sophisticated microprocessor-based readout and setpoint controller, specifically designed to accommodate industrial and process control needs when using LVDT/RVDT measurement devices. This dual-channel unit boasts a large, backlit display that supports a wide array of functions including MIN, MAX, TIR (Total Indicated Run-out), and the arithmetic sum (A+B) or difference (A-B) of two channels, providing comprehensive data at a glance.

Powered by a 100 to 240 VAC line, the MP-2000 facilitates precision control with selectable excitation frequencies of 2.5, 3.3, 5, and 10kHz, catering to various sensor requirements. It outputs data through both analog and RS-232 interfaces, ensuring compatibility with a range of PLCs and PCs. The unit features four user-programmable set-points with opto-isolated, open-collector outputs for flexible monitoring and control.

Set-point programming is highly customizable, with options for high or low thresholds and programmable hysteresis to prevent relay chatter, enhancing operational reliability. An optional Relay Board supports up to 5A per relay for high current applications. Calibration and operation are simplified with auto-zeroing capabilities, menu-driven prompts, and a 17-bit A/D converter ensuring high resolution and performance.

All settings are preserved in nonvolatile memory, safeguarding configurations against power interruptions. The splash-proof front panel, complete with status LEDs and ¼ DIN standard panel mounting, ensures durability and ease of installation in demanding environments.
