The MMX Series by Macro Sensors revolutionizes LVDT signal conditioning with its user-friendly, efficient calibration system and versatile output options. Operating with a nominal 15-30V DC power supply, this series simplifies the traditionally complex calibration process via two front panel push buttons, eliminating the need for manual potentiometer adjustments. This digital calibration method, complemented by an intuitive four LED status indicator, ensures quick, accurate setups in seconds, significantly reducing downtime and operational costs.
Designed for the demands of tight spaces and harsh conditions, the EAZY-CAL™ MMX Series modules are compact (2.77” x 3.35” x 0.7”), lightweight (2.3 oz.), and DIN-rail mountable, with a durable high impact and flame retardant plastic housing. They are built to withstand operating temperatures ranging from 32 °F to 160 °F (0 °C to 70 °C), making them suitable for a wide array of factory and industrial applications.
For environments that require multiple LVDTs, up to 10 EAZY-CAL™ MMX Series modules can be daisy-chained in a master/slave configuration. This feature synchronizes the excitation oscillator frequency across modules, effectively eliminating heterodyning, spurious beat frequencies, cross talk, and intermodulation effects, thereby ensuring reliable and interference-free operation across all channels.
