Crafted to meet stringent specifications, this linear potentiometer offers a precise 1.00-inch electrical stroke, centered within a slightly larger mechanical stroke of 1.070 inches, providing essential overtravel for operational safety. The device ensures electrical continuity throughout the mechanical stroke, supporting a stroke velocity of up to 50 inches per second and delivering outstanding linearity (±1%) and output smoothness (0.1% max).

Electrical characteristics include a resistance temperature coefficient of 400 PPM/°C max, allowing for consistent performance over a wide temperature range, with a power rating of 1.0 watt max at 70°C, derating to 0.0 watt at 125°C. It is designed to handle a wiper contact current of up to 10 milliamps max and offers significant dielectric strength (500 VRMS at 60 Hz) and insulation resistance (100 meg ohms at 500 VDC).

Mechanically, the potentiometer is built with a stainless steel housing and a passivated centerless ground stainless steel (SST) shaft, ensuring durability and smooth operation. The bearings are made from Vectra E130i, with multi-finger precious metal contacts and a co-molded conductive plastic element for reliable electrical performance. The lead wires feature 30 AWG Teflon insulation, type ET, for high insulation integrity.

Environmental resilience is a key feature, with an operating temperature range from -65°C to +125°C and a minimum cycle life of 50 million cycles. It can withstand significant shock (sawtooth 100G peak) and vibration (high freq; swept 10 - 2000Hz, 15G peak), in accordance with MIL-STD-202, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions. All specifications comply with MIL-PRF-39023, making it suitable for military-grade applications and demanding industrial environments.
