The BMS464508HF is an enhanced version of the standard BMS464508, equipped with a composite top plate to deliver a more rigid and responsive platform structure—ideal for high-fidelity kinetic measurements during gait and balance studies.

This model is part of AMTI’s OPTIMA-BMS Series, which applies the same patented OPTIMA calibration process used in the HPS line. That means it’s calibrated using up to 4000 precision-applied loads across a dense grid covering the entire surface, resulting in measurement accuracy and linearity far superior to conventional systems.

With full 6-axis measurement (Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My, Mz), typical COP error under 0.5 mm, and crosstalk below ±0.2%, the BMS464508HF is suitable for both adult and pediatric clinical assessments, sports performance labs, and academic biomechanics environments.

While not quite as precise as the HPS Series, this force plate offers best-in-class accuracy for its category, making it a cost-effective solution when extremely high spatial resolution and surface uniformity are required.
