The 2416 is a high-performance industrial pressure scanner from Chell Instruments, offering precision measurement and digital intelligence in a rugged, compact platform. Each of the 16 pressure inputs uses high-resolution, temperature-compensated digital transducers, providing accurate pressure and temperature data processed through proprietary compensation algorithms.
The system includes a three-position electrically actuated shuttle valve—capable of Run, Cal, and Purge modes—eliminating the need for external high-pressure supply lines and enabling automatic zeroing and system purging. The valve also measures purge pressure, logs usage cycles, and supports maintenance planning with positional feedback.
Pressure data is output in engineering units via Ethernet (TCP/UDP) using Chell’s native protocol, IENA, NetScanner emulation, or optional DDS/iDDS interfaces. The system supports IEEE 1588 PTPv2 time stamping, making it suitable for synchronized DAQ applications.
Compatible with a wide range of pressure ranges (from ±1 kPa to ±7000 kPa), and equipped with configurable measurement port options (QDC, compression fittings, or tubulations), the 2416 is ideal for demanding applications including wind tunnel instrumentation, aerospace test stands, and automotive development.
