7114A - Description

The Model 7114A is a high-performance IEPE accelerometer designed for demanding dynamic measurements in a wide range of applications. Built with stable piezo-ceramic crystals in annular shear mode, it offers excellent frequency response and thermal stability. The sensor is available in ±5g, ±10g, and ±50g dynamic ranges with high sensitivities of up to 1000 mV/g. Its welded stainless steel construction is hermetically sealed for IP67 environmental protection, while the stud-mount design ensures robust mechanical coupling to test structures.

This accelerometer features a side-exit 10-32 connector and operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. It offers low noise, low transverse sensitivity (<5%), and excellent linearity (<±1%). With a high natural frequency and stable output across varying frequencies and temperatures, the 7114A is ideal for precision testing such as modal analysis, high-frequency vibration measurement, and general-purpose lab testing.
