805, Miniature IEPE Accelerometer

The Model 805 Accelerometer is a Miniature TO-5 package IEPE accelerometer with hermetic seal, designed for embedded OEM and machine monitoring applications. Available in adhesive or stud mount versions with wide bandwidth up to 12kHz.

805 - Description

The Model 805 is a miniature, TO-5 style IEPE accelerometer optimized for embedded, permanent, and OEM vibration monitoring applications. Featuring a piezoelectric ceramic sensing element with an internal charge amplifier, it outputs a low-impedance, ±5V signal proportional to acceleration under standard IEPE excitation (2–10 mA, 18–28 VDC). The sensor is available in multiple measurement ranges from ±50g to ±500g and is capable of operating across a wide frequency band up to 12 kHz.

Its compact, lightweight design allows it to be easily integrated into tight spaces or directly mounted to rotating equipment. The housing is constructed from stainless steel and hermetically sealed to ensure long-term reliability in harsh industrial environments. Depending on the model, the sensor can be mounted with adhesive, M3 stud, or using an isolating base for improved decoupling from thermal or electrical noise sources.

The Model 805 is widely used in predictive maintenance, embedded condition monitoring, and structural analysis in industries such as energy, aerospace, automation, and medical device manufacturing.
