The DV301 is a precision cable-actuated (draw wire) sensor that combines position and velocity measurement in a single compact unit. It uses a stainless-steel measuring cable to convert linear motion into electrical signals through two independent elements: a plastic-hybrid potentiometer for position and a DC tachometer for velocity.
Designed for high-performance applications, the DV301 delivers near-infinite resolution, excellent repeatability, and fast dynamic response. Stroke ranges are available from 2 to 100 inches, with position accuracy up to ±0.10% full scale and velocity output linearity of ±0.10%. The velocity signal is self-powered, eliminating the need for an external power source.
Its powder-coated and anodized aluminum housing is rated IP50 for indoor industrial use and is engineered for reliability in automation, feedback control, and testing environments.
