The BL 520 is a compact temperature transmitter designed for DIN-rail installation in industrial environments. It supports both resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000) and thermocouples (J and K), covering a wide measurement range suitable for process and machine monitoring. The device automatically identifies 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTD connections, minimizing setup errors.
Outputs are selectable between current (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA) and voltage (0–5 V, 0–10 V) signals, making the transmitter adaptable to different control systems. With a fast measuring rate of approximately three readings per second, the BL 520 ensures responsive performance.
Its slim 6 mm DIN-rail housing conserves valuable panel space, while the 3-port galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply guarantees safe and interference-free operation. This makes the BL 520 well suited for demanding applications where accuracy, reliability, and compact design are required.
