The BasicLine BL 540 is a loop-powered isolator designed for safe and interference-free transmission of analog current signals. It provides full galvanic isolation between input and output, preventing ground loops and protecting measurement and control systems from disturbances.
Because the BL 540 is loop-powered, no external power supply is required, reducing wiring complexity and installation costs. The isolator supports standard 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA signals with a low voltage drop of just 1.7 V at 20 mA, ensuring compatibility with most transmitters and control systems.
Available in both single-channel (BL 541) and dual-channel (BL 542) models, the BL 540 offers maximum flexibility while saving space with its 6.1 mm DIN-rail housing. Its wide operating temperature range and high cutoff frequency (>100 Hz) make it well suited for industrial and process automation applications.
