The SPS464508-GT (formerly OR6-GT) belongs to AMTI’s Special Purpose Series (SPS) and is uniquely designed with a 24 mm thick glass top, enabling full visual access from below the platform surface. This feature makes it highly valuable for footwear force studies, tread pattern analysis, and research environments where synchronized force and video data are essential.
It uses strain gage bridge sensors to capture all six force and moment components (Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My, Mz) and delivers a typical center of pressure (COP) accuracy of <0.5 mm. The platform supports both USB digital and analog outputs via the included GEN-5 amplifier, making it compatible with a wide range of data acquisition systems.
The platform dimensions are 464 mm × 508 mm, with a total height of 97 mm and a solid 48 kg build, ensuring stability during high-fidelity motion analysis. This model is commonly used by leading footwear manufacturers and research labs where simultaneous underside imaging and ground reaction force measurements are required.
