The Dytran model 5313A is a triaxial IEPE seat pad accelerometer, designed to be installed between the ride and vehicle seat in transportation-related applications. The model 5313A utilizes an integral 10-foot cable, terminating to (3) BNC plugs.
Construction of the Dytran model 5313A consists of a thin rubber cushion containing the model 3143M1 accelerometer. The model 3143M1 is mounted within the rubber housing, or may be used as a stand-alone accelerometer. The model 5313A seat pad accelerometer conforms to ISO 8041, which specifies the performance and tolerance limits for instruments designed to measure vibration values in human vibration response assessments.
Recommended Accessories: model 4114B1 current source power unit.
